Forkan Ali is an academic and researcher specializing in sustainability and environmental management, renewable energy, business ethics, agroecology, and climate policy. With a PhD from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia—a globally top-ranked institution—he has made significant contributions to the knowledge of sustainable business strategies, environmental policy, and corporate leadership in the face of global challenges.
His academic journey includes a Master’s in Advanced European & International Studies from France, along with research and academic positions at leading universities such as UNSW, the University of Sydney, and the University of Queensland. As a lecturer in sustainability management, business communication, leadership and change management at higher education institutions and a research investigator at UNSW Canberra, he actively contributes to interdisciplinary research on eco-thinking, climate policy, carbon markets, and sustainable development.
Forkan Ali's scholarly excellence is reflected in publications in high-impact international journals and recognition from intergovernmental organizations like UNEP, SAARC, IJSG, and UNESCO, where he has won awards for research ideas and essay writing. He is also the recipient of prestigious fellowships and scholarships, including: Australian Government RTP Scholarship for doctoral research, UNSW Merit Scholarship and CIFE Fellowship, France
